Position:

• Simplified Chinese Technical Translator in Beijing Office, China

Responsibilities:

• To translate technical documentation or software contexts, and perform self proofread to ensure the correctness in clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and word usage. ,...
• To review the content of documentation and software following company standards, and customers' requirements.
• To test the content of documentation and software to ensure conceptual accuracy, navigability, readability, usability, and completeness.
• To verify that content is clear, concise, consistent, and appropriate for international users and locales.
• To create and maintain glossary and TM files.

Requirements:

• University graduate with major in English, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
• 1+ years Simple Chinese technical translation experience in the localization industry, with good understanding of the localization procedures and its technologies; familiar with industry leading localization tools such as Microsoft Office and TRADOS, etc...
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and FrameMaker.
• Profound native language writing skills.
• Good English writing and speaking skills.
• Able to work as a team or independently.
• Excellent attention to details.
