Position:
- Localization Project Manager in Beijing Office, China
Responsibilities:
- To review project requirements, prepare proposal for client; to track and inform the customer of any additional costs, and update the quotations as and when necessary throughout the project cycle.
- To manage and negotiate with vendors & freelancers on cost and schedule, to ensure cost effectiveness and prompt delivery.
- To create the project schedule, organize workload, allocate resources, control and monitor this process throughout the project.
- To deliver projects on schedule while meeting customer¡¯s expectations and requirements.
- To maintain good communications among language teams and customers. Create weekly project status reports, post-project report or any ad hoc reports, and distribute to customers and project teams.
- To manage and maintain the standard localization procedures, linguistic style-guide and QA checklist for each project.
Requirements:
- University graduate with major in English, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent discipline
- 3+ years experience in the localization industry, with good understanding of the localization procedures and its technologies; Familiar with industry leading localization tools.
- Fluent in spoken and written English is essential.
- Must be analytical, with good planning and organizing abilities.
- Good interpersonal & communication skill and team building skills.
- Self-motivated, aggressive and able to work efficiently.
